Welcome to Andy Thompson Photography NZ

This book celebrates the journey of our communities. It is easy to feel isolated in this situation, and I know many are struggling. The streets may be quiet; however, nested behind windows and walls are amazing, caring people like you and me dealing with their trials and tribulations each day. It was possible to capture images of people at a safe distance near or at their houses; I wanted to listen to and capture the communities’ experiences. At the time, we did not know this pandemic would carry on to the extent it has. Nor do we know how long it will be dominant in our lives for yet. I hope it shares a commonality that you as a reader may connect with others, and you are not alone. - Andy Thompson
